Get to Know Us

Hi! We’re a married couple with three kiddos and two doggos, navigating the sometimes hilarious, often overwhelming reality of shared life, work, parenting — and all the invisible labor that comes with it.

We started The Mental Load Chronicles as a real-time podcast and platform to document our journey toward rebalancing the workload at home (and in our heads).

This isn’t a polished highlight reel.

It’s the behind-the-scenes, unfiltered version of partnership — the mental checklists, calendar clashes, silent resentments, emotional labor, and the small wins that feel like major victories.

Each week, we unpack what it actually looks like to divvy up responsibilities, learn new systems, and challenge old habits — all while raising kids, managing multiple jobs, and trying not to forget to water the plants.

We're not experts.

We’re just a team trying to do better, out loud and on purpose. And holding ourselves accountable by doing the wole thing in front of you!

If you've ever felt like you're carrying it all (and then some), you're not alone — and you're in the right place.

Already in the "Mental Load Club"?

Maybe you already feel like everything falls on you - all the time. Maybe you're a partner who isn't quite sure how to help out without getting "that look"...

While we aren't sending email newsletters just yet, drop your email below so you can be one of the first to benefit from exclusive insights into our journey. We'll go over quite a bit in each podcast episode, but we're pretty sure there will be things we don't have time to talk about. We anticipate bundling these tidbits into a weekly or monthly (or quarterly - hey, life is busy!) newsletter. Stay tuned!
